Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- cdog612Sioux Falls, SD833 contributionsWe enjoyed an amazing personalized tasting here. First, the views. When enjoying wine, you have the beauty of the mountains and vineyard. The atmosphere inside and service is incredible. And obviously the wine is amazing. We enjoyed reds and whites along with various appetizers and cheesecake.Written 21 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gkloibLanghorne, Pennsylvania49 contributionsCapstone was our first stop on a recent tour with my wife. Between the views and the wine, every other stop on the day was compared to Capstone, and none compared! The views and the wine are wall worth a visit, we'll be back for a longer stay!Written 28 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob BFredericksburg, VA26 contributionsWe stopped by, for the first time, today. The setting is beautiful. The folks were friendly and knowledgeable. They only had six wines. Three whites and three reds. We tend to be white wine drinkers, so for us it was a little "limited.". The three we tasted were quite good. I don't believe they offer food, as we didn't see any signs or menus and our wait person never mentioned food The winery is a little off the beaten path, and signage isn't very good. If you want to find it, you'll need to map it out. All in all, a pleasant experience..Written 13 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gkloibLanghorne, Pennsylvania49 contributionsA boutique winery that has a very tasty (but limited) selection of wines. Between the owner and our knowledgeable tasting-guide we were welcomed into a home type atmosphere. If you're visiting Fox Meadow, with an outside deck, and a different view this Capstone is worth putting into your plans.Written 28 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rdh_1_karClearwater, FL176 contributionsI am SO very impressed by this facility and Jean French! I have been to many barns over the last 40+ years and I have to say, this one is top notch. I love that Jean takes the time to educate all the guests about horse behavior and mentality. She is also very careful to chose the right horse for the rider. My husband has never been on a horse before and had a lot of fear and anxiety. Jean was so patient and encouraging with him. Today he had his second lesson with her, followed by his first trail ride, which he really enjoyed. Thank you Jean, for finding a non-threatening way to introduce my husband to something I have always been passionate about! I would encourage anyone who is interested in learning to ride to book a session at Marriott Ranch with Jean ❤️Written 17 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer MPotsdam, NY2 contributionsDefinitely try this place out! Guided trail rides through beautiful woods and fields. You're surrounded by the gentle Virginia foothills of the Shenandoah mountains. The experienced guide offers a good lesson on safety in riding before you start. Highly recommend!
The nearby area is really peaceful and beautiful, with lots of tourist options.Written 22 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
