This had clean beachfront, sunflowers on the dunes, interesting friendly people, great accommodations and lots of nature and art shops.

Awesome job on this birding park! Fabulous pavilion; wonderful trails, and great views of ships passing by.
Visited the Nature Preserve and walked the trails, went out by the water at Dusk and saw lots of Dolphins up close, wonderful experience my children will always remember.

The Marine Science Institute is located near the entrance to IB Magee Beach Park.

We visited Mustang Island State Park the first time we went to Port A. We had an amazing time and since have found private beach access from our beach home/hotel.
This state park has a fantastic beach...at the right time of year you can even watch the see turtles come ashore to nest and lay their eggs!
