I wont lie I went here thinking it was some sort of castle with a bit of history to it, this isnt the case, its more of an art installation I suppose with constructions representing Christopher Columbus life and adventures.
Its a fine way to spend an hour and for the cost of 3 euros very affordable.

We originally bought tickets for a Friday morning, but upon arrival just after 11 AM, we found out the cable cars were closed due to high winds. Unfortunately, none of the staff could tell us if they would reopen that day and their attitude was shockingly rude. One staff member dismissed me before I could even ask a question simply telling me to go to the ticket office. Luckily, the woman at the ticket office informed us that online tickets were valid any day so we returned on Saturday when they were open.
Boarding the cable car was slightly frustrating as our Friday tickets were initially declined requiring a trip back to the ticket office to fix — something to be mindful of, especially if you’re visiting alone and don’t want to lose your place in the queue.
That said, once on the cable car, the experience was fantastic! The ride offered breathtaking views which my son absolutely loved. At the top, the birds of prey show was tremendous and definitely worth watching. However, we encountered yet another rude staff member which was disappointing.
Overall, the cable car ride and the views were incredible and the birds of prey show was a highlight. But the poor customer service left a sour taste. We are both animal lovers and had great fun looking at the different species up close. The place is relatively small, but that was good for us because we didn’t want to walk all over the place. We also knew this beforehand so we weren’t disappointed. We watched a nice little bird show, where the parrots and tucans flew over us. Nice for the young kids. We also saw dolphins, sloth and penguins, to name a few. Very few people as this was off season, which was comfortable. The beach is very clean and is well served by bars and restaurants. There are a number of sunbed stations along the length of the beach.
It can also be reached by using the local bus service, numbers 1 and 120

The staff does speak English & the show is performed in Spanish & English. Great audience participation! They bring all the birds to you to hold. Also, they bring kids up to the stage to participate! We sat right up front which I liked. The 3 times of the shows were 1, 2:30 & 4 in mid Feb. check website before paying for the expensive cable car(33€ 2 ppl RT) before coming up! There is a free WC in the cafe.
