Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Christy B5 contributionsIf you can get a reservation (they fill up fast), this is a beautiful hike and swimming area. We were there the first day they were open for swimming after it had been closed for a while due to the risk of falling rocks so we were not prepared. We hiked with a picnic and just looked at the pool, grotto and waterfall.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pattiRancho Santa Margarita, CA11 contributionsGreat staff, tasty treats, wonderful olive oil and balsamic vinegar. - PSCOnlinePlaya Junquillal, Costa Rica25 contributionsHad a most enjoyable Christmas outing at Deep Eddy. First time trying their Vodka and found it to be very clean and fresh ingredients. Staff was super engaging and knowledgeable. David was a super fun host for our class! Cocktails were excellent and the facility was beautiful. Highly recommend if you're in the area (PS - I'm not really a fan of Vodka but loved their products and the cocktails they made and will definitely add Deep Eddy to our home collection)Written 21 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J W1 contributionStacey did a wonderful job of introducing us to the winery and wines offered. She chose the perfect wines after we described what our preferences were. Enjoyed the wine and the experience.Written 29 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RoadWarrior89Arlington, TX37 contributionsWe booked an early tour hoping to avoid those who might over indulge by the later tours. Even better, our group was the only one on the tour so we had a private tour! It was very interesting. I'm the bourbon drinker in our group and really enjoyed the special releases. The group enjoyed the creative cocktails. We sampled each others and all were a hit. Jorge was great guide and overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon. The tour is primarily outdoors - we lucked out with some great weather, but it is something to keep in mind if you are visiting in the heat of summer.Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Many great ideas for adult drinks and the menu is perfect! Food was good and so was the private tour of the facility! We will be back!Written 2 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael BFort Worth, TX3 contributionsReally great wines and worth the countryside drive to visit. Beautiful views of the vineyards and hill country from their patio. Extra friendly and helpful staff. Their tour of the cave and the processing area is a real treat. We always enjoy our visits to Hawk's Shadow.Written 11 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- yschickAustin, TX43 contributionsSpring 2023, Susan helped design my new garden. Many of the plants were from Soltice and thrived. She and Irene are so knowledgeable and willing to help. I love wandering thru the sculpture garden and gallery. May not be everyone's cup of tea but I find it great fun. The gallery would be a fun place to pick up one-of-a-kind local artwork. I need to go back when I can spend more time.Written 20 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WanderPhiladelphia, PA203 contributionsEven as you’re leaving Austin it’s a very cool drive out the FBBC and you get a taste of life outside of a major city in Texas. The brewery itself is very nice and spacious with plenty of seating both inside and outside. I alternated between the 2 a lot whenever the heat became too much for me. They don’t offer tours, but they have plenty of windows to see into the brewery. The beer itself was stellar. Very refreshing (I got both variations of the Cicada Song). They also have rotating seltzers and I got the black cherry one during my visit and it was very good. The staff are some of the friendliest and the epitome of southern hospitality. I didn’t try the food, but they do have some on offer. There is also a playground for the kids. If I lived down here I would definitely be a regular.Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - T3893BNangelapTampa, FL19 contributionsMy husband, daughter and I had an amazing time while on the farm! Aubrey gave us a complete tour not only all of her alpacas but her chickens, cow and calf too. We were able to hold a baby chick and she gave us some farm fresh eggs for breakfast the next day…Aubrey they were soooo yummy! The alpacas are very soft, a little hesitant to let us pet them but they warmed up after we fed them by hand. We loved petting the calf too! Aubrey is very knowledgeable and friendly and we truly enjoyed our time on the farm. Hopefully we will keep in touch as I’d love an alpaca blanket and maybe some dryer balls too! We highly recommend this tour if you are in the area!Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
