Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to photograph when shrouded in fog. Also nice to walk around after rain always so peaceful.

Went here for the third time and have enjoyed the food each time. Took my sister who is visiting from Adelaide for lunch.
She had the Vietnamese beef stew (Brilliant) Husband and I had the spring rolls which are also great.
    Will be back again 😊

Cool, peaceful and shady. Very European planted garden (hello 19th Century). Lovely lawns.
Interesting history with old walled swimming pool (now a garden) and spring fed lake.
Curious street borders of park with grumpy householders keen to sign “no trespassers”.
Fair enough, can you spare an egg or cup of sugar?

The Old Buninyong Library (1861) is now the home of the Buninyong Visitor Centre where, amidst, lots of historical artefacts, visitors can receive lots of local information and advice (and a copy of the excellent free 32 page Buninyong Visitor Guide) Its open Tue-Sun between about 10.00am and 3.00pm

If you enjoy watching wrecks race around a dirt track without any rhyme or reason then this is the place for you. It is not a Calder Raceway or Mount Panorama. On its behalf it is not setting out to be but it is a waste of space and as the towns of Buninyong and Ballarat encroach it is become less and less relevant. Seriously. Think it is time to close it down.

Set in undulating country in the historic township of Buninyong, just 13 km from Ballarat, this course will challenge the better golfers while providing a good venue for hackers like me.

Its greens are superb and its now all-couched fairways are coming good with age- though on my visit they could have been left a little longer to provide a better cushion under the ball.

There are plenty of carts for hire, discount deals to be done, and a pleasant day amongst really old tee-lined fairways to be enjoyed.

Snacks and drinks are available from the friendly staff in the small 'pro'shop.
