Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Brian PCupar, UK431 contributionsThis is golf as it used to be! You just put your £15 in an envelope, post it through the letter box and tee off. The course has some of the most amazing views of any course in Scotland - across to Arran. It is a good challenge but, beware, bring plenty of balls as the rough bracken and heather will gobble up plenty.Written 22 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter ARipley, UK118 contributionsWe drove down to the harbour in Carradale and was disappointed from what we remember of our last visit nearly 30 years ago. Then there were some small workshops such as Carradale Jewellery where we bought a very nice silver ring.
It appeared to be very busy about the harbour which is a good sign for the local economy.Written 15 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Rang Ian using the number left clearly on the door and he was there an hour later on a Monday evening. All fixed in half an hour, chain lubricated and loads of friendly advice given. Even changed the battery in my speedometer (which now works fine Ian).
Genuine friendly, helpful guy. This business is a really great asset to the area!Written 21 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
