Our group of 5 enjoyed 9 fantastic days in Scotland, thanks to Kilted Piper
Tours. I was the lead contact before the tour and Graeme was very helpful and fast to reply to my many questions. His suggestions for hotels and tours were perfect. Graeme took great care in planning the days around our group. And once the 9 days started he was very agreeable to adapt to our last minute requests. The van was very comfortable and kept clean the entire tour. Castles, Palaces, Ferry ride to Skye and many many more beautiful sites all around Scotland. We enjoyed the bag pipe tunes, the stories, and information along the way.
If you plan a vacation to Scotland, I highly recommend Graeme Clive at Kilted Piper Tours.

There was plenty of room on the boat for our 7 members and had a uncover area to not that we needed it. We were blessed with the most beautiful sunny day. John our pilot/skipper was full of knowledge and very helpful. We saw plenty of wildlife on our tour to. When booking the process was simple and straightforward and excellent value for money. I would definitely come back and do another tour. From the very first course I took with them, I knew I was in excellent hands. The entire team, both onshore and offshore, consistently goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional sailing experience.
The skippers are incredibly knowledgeable and professional, always maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere on the water. Their passion for sailing is evident, and they are truly committed to ensuring every student gains confidence and skills. Whether it was the Yachtmaster preparation and exam or the Ocean Yachtmaster passage, I felt fully supported and encouraged every step of the way.
The yachts themselves are top-notch, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a safe and enjoyable journey. I have always felt comfortable and confident sailing with Go West, knowing the vessels are in excellent condition.
The administrative and onshore support team also deserves a special mention. They are incredibly efficient, friendly, and always willing to help with any queries or concerns. From booking courses to organizing charters, they make the process seamless and stress-free. The level of communication and organization they provide is superior, which really sets them apart.
Over the years, I've completed a range of courses with Go West, including Costal to Offshore YachtMaster, Cruising Instructor, experience builder, ocean passages and several bareboat charters. Each time, the experience has been outstanding, with personalized attention and a clear commitment to excellence in training.

- Jprwilliams711 contributionI chartered bravado , the Bavaria 45 for a family holiday as the yacht has 4 large Double cabins which is ideal for my situation . The staff could not have been more helpfull, providing us with everything we needed to enjoy the trip, they even took delivery if our tesco order and stowed it onboard as we had been delayed .
