Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Aideen NDublin, Ireland4 contributionsWe went out as a family of four with a ten year old that’s not great in open water. Robbie was amazing with him and Sam on the pier was great! Both lads were amazing and we had the best time! Thanks Robbie and Sam! Would highly recommend 😊Written 6 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gerald E17 contributionsTo some extent this is a lovely place. I had a great view over the harbour. My room was twin bedded and I paid quite a substantial single room. supplement. There was just one lift and then there were three steps down to the room. The bathroom consisted of a toilet, a sink and a shower. The shower head was not detachable. There was no bath mat and there were no grab rails. For my purposes it was therefore unusable. There was no wifi but there was a TV, albeit on the small side. There was tea/coffee making facilities. Most nights I could hear people on the benches outside the bar until quite late but otherwise it wa reasonable quiet. The food was generally pretty good altough choices were limited. One night though they served gammon and pineapple. The gammon was over-cooked and in some cases totally burnt. The mashed potatoe it was served on was merely warm rather than hot. The staff were generally very amenable but service was sometimes rather slow. The location is perfect. I just wish the facilities had been better.Written 15 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
