We also rode the Nature Tram that took us around the plantation and saw at least 5 alligators as well as several yellow-bellied sliders (turtles), egrets, ducks, a great blue heron, and other wildlife.
The gardens of Magnolia Plantation were stunning, and the nature tour by open-top bus, when we saw lots of alligators and lots of unusual birds, was exciting and fascinating.
