This old plantation (with great climbing trees and nature trail) is right in the hustle and bustle of Mount Pleasant, and we visited it twice (once at closing and once just after opening the next day).
The park has some short nature trails; a structure atop the original home and museum with a collection of artifacts unearthed by archaeologist over the years.
