This historic church is well worth a visit to enjoy scenic views of the May River in Bluffton, SC and a well-preserved house of worship dating back to the antebellum years.
This beautiful church sits on a bluff overlooking the estuary, a terrific view (and a great place to come and picnic, by the way), framed by oak trees dripping with Spanish moss.

There is a beautiful waterfront park where you can enjoy the river view, there are lovely homes overlooking the water and the two of us enjoyed catching the sunsets while driving down Bay.
There are also art galleries, historical landmarks, and if you like to do a little shopping there's small clothing and jewelry stores.
