Bobby was an excellent tour guide and educator. Truly one of the best tours we’ve been on. Highly recommend coming in and enjoying the delicious rum!

Nice, clean beach. Was a little too chilly for us to go for a swim, but we had a nice walk and loved the view. There was a nice bath to get over to the beach from the walking path. Will go back here again.

Excellent! We had a great time riding our bikes over the island and beach! Can’t wait to return! We were a couple in our forties.

This is a community entrance. $9 in cash only. Atm, Publix, right around the corner for withdrawal. Once you drive into the community there are signs to the trail. There is limited parking. Once you find it, trails are well marked. Part of trail is walking other parts of trail you can actually drive to. You can plan accordingly. Trails have boardwalks over the swamp. Opportunities to see turtles. The fish island is beautiful with lovely water areas.

This wilderness area is for those interested in moderate activity. It’s all flat so it’s not strenuous, you it takes a good walk down the gravel road after you have to park your car. We did different loops around lakes and saw birds, marshland, lakes, alligators, etc. we were out there an hour or 1.5 hours and maybe saw 25%. It’s a neat place. Completely uninhabited by people.

We’re not “boat people,” but this a fun place to see every type and size of pleasure craft imaginable. There’s a nice selection of shops and restaurants, too. Since we were here in the off season there was not much activity in the way of dolphin-watching cruises and that sort of thing, but there are numerous things like that which can booked at other times of the year. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a nice beach area with a nice path to walk to the beach and easy for my mother to use her walker to get to the beach as well.

The lighthouse is located in the private Sea Pines area so there is a charge for admission to the area and also a separate charge for admission to the lighthouse. A number of interesting exhibits line the stairs as you climb to the top of the lighthouse. There are scenic views from the top outer deck of the marina and surrounding area.

We visited about a bit over a year ago and not a lot has changed. It looks like there is an updated stage area for programs, though. The area is important historically and the signage and QR code links to multimedia clips really help to bring the history to life. The experience would be even better if there was at least one fully recreated house and church of the design and construction of those that were built here in the 1860s.

Ushers were very friendly. Great homily by Associate pastor. Good amount of parking and easy to get into church. Easy to find.

Every kid will love climbing on the extended branches of the live oak trees. A play house is built around one section of these massive trees. Individual wooden poles placed close together and with a wave top was the fence around the play area. Large play area

Nice, on time, 40-minute ride from Daufuskie to High Island. Love the fact that the ferry is air conditioned and has comfortable seats.
