The Information Center/Gift Shop was full of all kinds of treasures, spotless rest rooms and a very cool interactive 3 d map that showed where you are and all the other attractions and state parks in the area.
Outstanding gift shop, much larger than most state park gift shops.

Near the parking lot below the footbridge leading into the park the stream widens a bit in places with tranquil pools perfect for wading and cooling down from your day's hike before getting back on the road.
The park office/visitor center has limited hours of operation, which is a surprise, but it was well-stocked with snacks, hiking gear, souvenirs, maps, and books.
