We stayed at Fisherman's Memorial State Park (Tent Site...$20 tax included!!) The area is beautiful, with plenty of restaurants and shops.
We could only go on the weekend and it was a particularly hot day so we week early and had great parking with lots of choice as to where to park our stuff.

... all kinds of birds and other wildlife, and a fresh breeze that is filled with the scents of the ocean....just a great place to take a relaxed stroll, soak in the sunshine and some great views, and be with nature.
Very easy to reach and park.. and it's so beautiful and easy to walk on the well-paved cliff.. there is one small stone area but I crossed even with a baby and stroller.. and those mansions looks great as you walk...
