Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I recently completed most of the Heritage Trail and the Torrey Brown Trail over the weekend. We started in New Freedom both Saturday and Sunday. Rode north in Pa. 16/17 miles to Days Mill Road (Brillhart Station parking lot) and back on Saturday. Stopped at Hampton Junction both ways to use bathroom and refill water. The trail was in very good shape, and we used our trail bikes, not our hybrids. Packed and ate lunch along the way. Several small towns you pass through.
On Sunday, we went south from New Freedom across the Mason-Dixon line into Maryland. This trail is called the Torrey Brown trail or Gunpowder Fall State Park trail. Both trails are connected. Rode about 16 miles to Monkton, Md. where we used the bathroom and refilled water. Monkton is about 7 miles from the end in Ashland, Md. Turned around there and rode back to New Freedom. One tip. The ride south from New Freedom is on a downhill grade and very nice, but you pay for it coming back. The Maryland trail is more rural with a stream running alongside the bike trail most of the way. Trail was in good shape.

Take your little love ones to Lake Redman. My granddaughter Leah and myself had the best time ever. It's an excellent spot for any kid's first time fishing. A memorable day!!

Nice state park. It was difficult to find the trail from the first parking lot off Mt Pisgah Rd. We drove to the rock field, parked there and found the trails.

Just a great time with my grandson showing him all the animals in the display. The walk on the trails during fall is beautiful!

Pretty good for a suburban park, and good-sized. It has a dirt bicycle track, dog runs, a well marked 5K running course, some short trails and is large enough for an exercise walk. It’s well maintained. It’s also the trailhead for a five-mile greenway. A hundred years from now, when the area is totally urbanized, this place will be a gem.

Very peaceful park, lots of parking. Boat ramps available as well as kayaks to rent. Enjoy a day at the park, hiking, biking or kayaking. Also come to fish, by boat, kayak or on shore or off the bridge. Nice park in York County to visit. Park covers both Lake Williams amd Lake Redman. Please be avised; as of June 2019 Lake Willaims water level has been lowered due to an on-going construction project.

We love going here, the solid soft surface is clean and safe. Great for my special needs daughter to be able to walk around safely.
