Wonderful stop on a road trip for ice cream, snacks, and gifts. Didn't hang out much outside due to the weather - but the kids will enjoy the calves near the shop.

They had amazing selection of food: Korean, Thai, pretzels, etc. We didn't have time to sample since we were on a schedule and didn't plan on staying much longer but will be back.

Best place to take family , lights are spectacular! Walking trail brings you right up to lights show. Cocoa and cookies sold here very good. Inside huge train display beautiful. Reasonably priced, Tuesday, Wednesday best days , missed Santa though. Kids love it.🎄🦌

My wife and I recently completed most of the Heritage Trail and the Torrey Brown Trail over the weekend. We started in New Freedom both Saturday and Sunday. Rode north in Pa. 16/17 miles to Days Mill Road (Brillhart Station parking lot) and back on Saturday. Stopped at Hampton Junction both ways to use bathroom and refill water. The trail was in very good shape, and we used our trail bikes, not our hybrids. Packed and ate lunch along the way. Several small towns you pass through.
On Sunday, we went south from New Freedom across the Mason-Dixon line into Maryland. This trail is called the Torrey Brown trail or Gunpowder Fall State Park trail. Both trails are connected. Rode about 16 miles to Monkton, Md. where we used the bathroom and refilled water. Monkton is about 7 miles from the end in Ashland, Md. Turned around there and rode back to New Freedom. One tip. The ride south from New Freedom is on a downhill grade and very nice, but you pay for it coming back. The Maryland trail is more rural with a stream running alongside the bike trail most of the way. Trail was in good shape.

Take your little love ones to Lake Redman. My granddaughter Leah and myself had the best time ever. It's an excellent spot for any kid's first time fishing. A memorable day!!

Easy to find, all seats are great, staff is friendly. Entertainment is fun as fans are engaged in the between inning happenings. Food is reasonable, great chicken fingers in the concourse. Price for admission is very inexpensive. PA guy is funny, ushers helpful, and a cannon is fired when the home team hits a homerun.
Overall a great value for 3 plus hours of entertainment.

We visited the history museum and the agricultural museum. Wish we had time to visit the fire and historical buildings as well as they are covered under one cost. Bot volunteers at the two museums were very friendly and helpful.

Nice state park. It was difficult to find the trail from the first parking lot off Mt Pisgah Rd. We drove to the rock field, parked there and found the trails.

Just a great time with my grandson showing him all the animals in the display. The walk on the trails during fall is beautiful!

Buy a fast pass on busy weekends
Or be prepared to stand and watch as fast passers go again and again.

This place is so interesting. If you love history this is your place. Staff is super friendly! There is so much to see that you are afraid you will miss something. This is a great place to show kids the past.
