They all really cared about our progress and made sure to find the best beaches with the best conditions for the day. - Camille SeguiCairns, Australia2 contributionsWe booked a morning lesson with lets go surfing. We drove 5 minutes from the shop with the boards to have the perfect conditions and easy waves. Mitch our instructor was funny and informative. He gave us good feedback after every waves and always had a positive attitude to make us feel good. The group was small so we all had heaps of opportunities to ride waves. Overall a fun experience!!! Thanks guys ! So lively. So fun.
It was just me and my husband in the class and it was honestly the best night.
We both loved it and left with the biggest smiles on our faces!

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Haiden4 contributionsThe 1/2 day surfing lesson was brilliant I would highly recommend it, we were picked up from our hostel which was wake up in Byron bay, we were taken to the arts hostel where we changed shuttle buses which had the surf boards attached, the staff were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome, we got to the beach which was about a 20 minute drive, we immediately come down to the beach and started on with our surf lesson where we were told about the health and safety as well as practising our surfing technique before actually surfing, once we was in the water we had loads of help and the waves were brilliant! - Jon C1 contributionI booked the 4 day/4 night Surf Camp and had an incredible experience. The surf instrutor crew they have is amazing.
I'm an intermediate surfer and I was pleasantly surpriced how they accommodated for me. Most of the campers are beginner surfers but they asked about my experience and was able to have an instructor work with me at my level rather than put me in with the beginner crew.
All of the instructors were genuinly nice and just great people in general. Thomas and Conor were always at a high level of froth (stoke). Sophia was a great instructor that gave me a lot of great things to work on. Nat (sp?) was extremely accomodating on Chrismas Day and was able to lend me a board on Christmas Day when there were no Surf Camps that day. I had a blast at The Pass.
I like their structure of teaching a lot. First day/first timers go in one group and get the basics. The first timers who've gone through the first day, then go into another group where they give additional, more advanced instruction. Great way to have people progress.
I enjoyed that they took us to different locations each day to be able to try different spots.

He's got a great spot for beginners, where it's not too deep and you can stand up when needed. The progression has been noticeable, over the last three lessons I've learned to paddle onto the wave, ride it in and do a few turns along the way as well. - Monique D1 contributionI highly recommend Australian Surf Adventures! Jody was so easy to communicate with in organising our lesson. We were warmly welcomed by Mick who safely drove us to our surf beach for the day. We started our class with a yoga warm-up from Marie and then got straight into surf training. I was blown away at how the simple techniques they showed us had everyone standing within the first few tries! Although we were a group of 8 people we all received individualised attention and tips.
The team was so professional and friendly and I'm so glad we chose them to teach us how to surf! After this experience we will definitely be joining them on their Surf Holidays.
