This time I wanted to experience the special NYE retreat which proved to be exceptionally restorative and just what I needed after such a busy year of work. I extended my stay by three nights, giving me 9 nights in this wonderfully nurturing and nourishing environment. I can't speak more highly of the retreat hosts, the yoga/meditation/massages, beautiful grounds and mineral pool, plus the nutritious and simply delicious meals and the cleanliness of the rooms and shared facilities. - Jodie UBrisbane, Australia1 contributionThis was the best gift I could have given myself. I arrived exhausted, anxious and burnt out but when I left I felt invigorated with a new perspective.
I feel so relaxed and nourished, and therefore, I don't feel the frustration or lack of patience in daily life. I left the retreat with new goals, a fresh outlook on life, and feeling motivated with a healthy dose of inspiration. I have gained long term benefits including breaking old habits and thought patterns.
Thank you Kirsten, the retreat was amazing, you are so caring, supportive, knowledgeable and very kind, I am grateful. So relaxing and amazing, the complementary LED light therapy is really also such a nice gesture from them. I had to re schedule my booking a million times due to my work schedules but the staff was always super friendly and helpful. The treatment itself was targeted to my skin condition and felt so soft and plump afterwards. I can report it is still spotlessly clean & has no smelly odours.
Staff are friendly & they will ask for payment before the massage.
Our remedial massage & Thai oil massage were good but not memorable this time. I guess it’s the luck of the draw.
Pricing is on the high side considering you must pay with cash. Unfortunately, they don’t do private health insurance payments.
TIP:- they are very busy, so don’t expect to walk in & hope to get a massage. Complete workover of the body, hot stones and a facial that sent me to another level. Beautiful products with enchanting aromas, and a gentle touch which I chose due to spinal problems. Thank you, Kirsty, for your professionalism and talent and I will definitely return for more of the magic. - Sharlene K1 contributionMark from Byron Massage Clinic was the best remedial therapist I have found in my 39 years living all over Australia I highly recommend his service he wouldn’t even accept my $100 tip and that’s the first time I’ve ever wanted to even tip someone I left there feeling so relaxed with clear sinuses and more.
