I had armadillo which is maple and pecan - divine!! Reasonably priced as it is all made on site.
We were able to walk around the entire site, at our own pace, and welcomed the many benches to be able to sit, enjoy the views, and have a short break before walking the rest of the route.

The lighthouse closes at 5, but it is definitely worth it even in the outside, it is a great structure, plus the sunset view from the area is absolutely marvelous.

During a unplanned visit we saw the black hawks practicing take of and landings which was exciting view initially we was only passing and saw loads of action so popped in for a closer look and pleased we did.
The viewing area is clearly signposted with views in two directions - across the runway towards the southerly hangars and across the Merlin apron.
