Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent place to stop in. On Saturdays there is the largest museum of uranium glass. Awesome. Super friendly and a different place to visit.

Lovely winery! Great walking trail. Fun spot! The staff was friendly and informative! We enjoyed our wine as we walked along the trail that has informative signs that fill you in on the history of the area.

What a great surprise. We saw Something Rotten on Broadway twice. It is our favorite play. Hence, we were a little skeptical to see it at the Ritz after all we saw it with two of the finest Boyle and Darcy. Well all I have to say is WOW! the Ritz ensemble did an amazing job kudos to the entire cast , the Bottim Brothers, Shakespeare and the hysterical soothsayer and all the rest JOB WELL DONE!!

This shop has a very nice inventory of antiques, as well as some new items mixed in to their inventory. The owner is very friendly and is great to chat with about the area and things to do. We've visited this area a few times and always stop in to see what he has in the store and end up having an interesting conversation while we're there.

The Lake Trail, which includes the dike along Route 6 is very easy to walk and mostly level, as it winds along the shore, past the Visitor Center and through a campground to the dam which produces hydroelectricity.
Shuman Point hike is on opposite side of lake from the dike and took 1.5 hours as the review stated. This trail is very rocky so you constantly have to watch your steps to avoid tripping. We went clockwise and had a steeper uphill at the end, although there isn’t a whole lot of elevation change overall. Plenty of open views of the lake with several places to walk down to it.

A beautiful Catholic Church with extraordinary stained glass windows and an original old-style reredos with ornate and intricate craftsmanship.

After having a very unpleasant experience at the Wallenpaupack Brewery, we were very please with the Hopping Eagle. Great friendly staff with the best atmosphere. Beers are exceptional. This is what we look for in a Brewery. Thank you for an excellent time.

This building is absolutely stunning from the outside and the the appearances continue when you walk inside. It's personality fits into the Poconos motif.

The reason I say there is potential is that when my wife and I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon in the summer it seemed to be half closed. The shops that were open were hidden treasures and the Cocoon Coffee shop was delightful, but there were too many closed signs and too much space for rent.

I'm sure that with the Settler's Hospitality Group in charge this place will be full of great local shops a must see. I'm excited to visit again and likely upgrade my review to 5 stars!

This sweet antique shop is located conveniently right near Woodloch Pines and a quick ride from downtown Hawley. You will not find a reproduction here! The owners are knowledgeable and inviting. This is a must visit on your next antiquing excursion!
