This is our second time working with Outriders Northwest. We like to do fun things for our employee outings so last winter we booked snowmobile rentals through Elk Lake Lodge and Outriders supplied the snowmobiles. They were brand new Polaris sleds and it was SO MUCH FUN. They had maps and GPS and were so easy to use.

They do a really good job of giving a thorough, complete orientation to the vehicle (both snowmobiles and RZRs) and they stress safety. Honestly if you break the machine it's because you didn't listen to what they said.

The Lava Run tour is guided and our guide was a woman, which was super cool. We are all local but we still love cruising through our forests here and checking out the lava field. It's definitely easier to follow a guide than try to navigate back there.

If I had to pick between the two experiences, I would say the snowmobiling was better simply because you don't get as dirty, haha. Despite being patient and leaving tons of space in between RZRs, if you don't have enough wind it'll be SO DUSTY. The RZRs are super fun to drive and the backroads have lots of variety, but we all were completely covered in Central Oregon moon dust. They had a leaf blower (sweet touch!) to clean you off with afterwards, which is really amusing. Definitely bring a buff or something for your face, sun glasses, sunscreen, and a bottle of ice water. It gets hot!

My Tour was FANTASTIC! The guide was on time and prepared. The electric bikes were very easy to operate and they appeared to be almost brand new. The tour was very informative and I was able to learn and see things in Bend that the average tourist would never know about. Plus, the bikes were a lot of fun! I was so impressed by the guide, that I signed up for 2 additional hiking tours for the next day. I would highly recommend the Electric Bike Tour of Bend and the Deschutes River. Even though it was raining out we had a fantastic tour. Our guide was great!! Our guide explained use of the side by side, made sure everyone stayed safe and had fun. He explained about the lava fields and surrounding area. We saw a heard of elk.

Outriders Northwest ATV Adventures was the an exclent choice for our family reunion activity! Our ages ranged from 7 to 70 and everyone had a fabulous time. Everyone enjoyed the day so much and we are still talking about how much fun we had. Our guide, Chase, was extremely knowledgable and personable. He answered all of our questions and knows the area quite well. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a fun time in Central Oregon!

The scavenger hunt was fun. A nice way to get to know a little about Bend. We got a bit lost in the middle but found our way back and the kids 8 & 12 got bored at about question 16/24. We pushed through and promised a reward for fun and non complaining behavior.

The clues were a perfect combination of fun with knowledgeable information to learn about Bend and some of its history. Really enjoyed getting locals involved to help us find our clues, they were all so nice and excited for our search.

My partner and I had the best time adventuring around downtown, walked a total of 4 miles wondering back and forth hunting for clues, and enjoyed ourselves so very much! Was the perfect way to spend a couple hours before our dinner date.
Highly recommend for some local fun and education!

We are beginners in photography and this tour was educational. instructions were clear and easy to follow along, and Christian was very pleasant and easy going, allowing us plenty of opportunity to practice and giving us feedback.

The photographer gave us lots of locations to choose from (waterfalls, Smith Rock, Cascade Lakes). We chose the Sparks Lake Sunrise for the reflected mountain views. It was spectacular! Wife loved it and all she had was her phone. Great to learn about the instructors favorite landscape f-stops and low light techniques. He also suggested some processing techniques ( I enjoy HDR) and great phone app for the wife who downloaded it right there. Will do this again next time with my daughter who loves photography!
