Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- cenztOhio21,415 contributionsGood trip. We arrived at approximately 9 am and made our way towards the entrance of the park. After paying the admission fee, we began to explore the area. The sculpture park was quite big and the sculptures were scattered around. There were various parking spaces throughout the park. We decided to drive around the perimeter of the park, stopping to view and take pictures of the various sculptures. Each sculpture was labeled with the artists name and sculpture title. The sculptures were mostly composed of steel and varied from people to objects. There was a small pond on the property as well as an early pioneer house. We were not able to see the pyramid house or gallery museum on the day that we went, as they were both closed.
Tip: I recommend spending 4 hours here if you truly want to see everything.Written 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The librarians who plan these are excellent.Written 5 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travelone_internationalCincinnati, OH608 contributionsA Classic oldie but a goodie when it comes to Drive-in's....This drive-in is small but quaint with a lot of class. Holiday has so much class and excellent staff aiming to please. Restrooms are clean, snack bar is small but tidy and a lot of items to choose from I wish they offered soft serve ice cream and/or slushies. But they do have an outdooor vendor that sells Hawaiian Ice at a nominal fee. Where else can you go and get two movies for the price of one and really good cartoons in between movies.
They are also big with concerns of Covid-19 with the staff wearing masks and wearing PPE in the snack bar. They also have security from the local sheriff's office and emergency squad from time to time. There popcorn is a little pricey and there food combo's are at the high spectrum $$$, so don't forget your credit card at home! They do allow you to bring in food from outside as long ass you purchase a food permit at a nominal fee; which is great when your on a budget.
The night we went perfect weather and we also brought our dog name Jack. They allow dogs and cats as long as you pickup after them and they are leashed but beware of the coyotes and other animals in the woods surrounding the
theater. Overall we had a great time, great weather and awesome atmosphere along with friendly people who run it.Written 12 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beer was good, the service was very friendly and helpful. And, the food truck was excellent (Mexi-Q). It was a very comfortable place to hang out, have a beer or two and some good food. We will definitely go back again when in the area. Give it a try, we think you'll like it.Written 22 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ROBIN BCincinnati, OH42 contributionsWedding dresses through the ages. What a grand collection of wedding dresses worn by brides from 1839 to 1973. There were three groom suits and a variety of wedding accessories on display. Mr. Smith gave us a very educational tour of these lovely dresses. Each dress had written records, wedding photographs and stories of the families associated with the dresses. The exhibit reflects the changing styles of these dresses and societal factors that influenced those changes.Written 3 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BoPoWiCincinnati, OH56 contributionsI had season’s tickets to the Greater Hamilton Civic Theater years ago, but life got so busy, I didn’t take time to go to this theater. But WOW! What a comeback! This theater is better than I remembered it! My husband and I had a ball watching “Legally Blonde.” The actors and actresses not only delivered lines in a way that triggered belly laughter throughout the audience, but they sang splendidly, they danced with youthful vigor and they even performed impressive acrobatics! The live music, colorful sets and costumes added to the sheer pleasure of this production. It was obvious that the people involved in making this production had fun doing it, and the fun was contagious! The play was in the Parrish Auditorium on the campus of Miami University Hamilton. As I remembered it, the auditorium has comfortable, padded stadium style seating. There are stairs to access upper levels. Candy and soft drinks were served before the play and during intermission. My husband noticed that there were no diet soft drinks available. The play was over two hours long, so for patrons who are diabetic, I would suggest having a snack in your vehicle, pocket or purse. There was plenty of free parking for this matinee performance. The price for a ticket is reasonable, especially considering the live music and the vigorous energy put into the production. I surely missed a lot by staying away! I'll never be too busy again to enjoy live theater - especially this one!Written 4 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OakbugHamilton, OH259 contributionsGreat people helping to make our day special amidst a lot of history! The Lincoln display as well as the smell of history in the old courtroom provide an interesting look not at Butler County history but US History as well. The architecture is attractive as well.Written 12 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ElaineAndGregChesterland, OH3,096 contributionsThe Soldiers Sailors and Pioneers Monument is hard to miss. It's at the edge of downtown Hamilton by the Great Miami river and the bridge that crosses it.
The monument itself was build around 1906 to honor those in Hamilton who served in the various wars up to that time.
On the outside, the monument is about 100 feet tall. What looks like a life-size statue of a soldier on the top is actually 17 feet tall. Note that it's just an ordinary soldier, not a general.
Inside there are large glass windows commemorating the role of women in supporting the war effort. There are also a large number of artifacts, such as the remains of a tree with two civil war cannonballs embedded in it. The monument is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who have created computerized databases etc. There are also rotating displays relating to wars since the monument's creation.
This is definitely worth a stop-by if you are in the area. Roughly catty-corner across the street, you can see the old municipal building, now with the name of Hamilton Hall. It is a nice Art Deco structure. The friezes were actually done by children's illustrator Robert McCullough when he was only 19. It's worth a walk around.Written 23 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
