We were so glad we did what an amazing view and knowing the history made it even more special and we found a perfect heart shape rock to remind us of our climb!

Warm, serviced daily, with all mod coms ( some great showers!) there are lovely views of the river, the ancient cloister ruins, and beautifully kept gardens.
Having read tge fascinating history of the site in Locus Benedictus, it was great to see the Abbey and grounds which are well maintained.
