St Leonard's church sits up on the hill with magnificent views ...the church has a very interesting crypt with 100s of sculls.....well worth a visit

we found that the on site shop at the French terminal prices were a bit on the high side.

The static displays of the Hurricane and Spitfire are outstanding, the monument and the landscaping of the site was terrific and the experience in the interpretation center was sophisticated and amazing.

The town has thoughtfully created some excellent memorials at this site, re-named a road, erected this arch, encouraged the tying of woollen poppies to the railings and attached informative plaque to the wall next...
Once at the arch there is seating with memorial plaques around them telling facts about the great war, the views are amazing out across the channel and the white cliffes of Dover.

It was built here after the war when the original Holy Trinity was bombed, only the tower from the original church now stands on the original site at the begining of Folkestone town centre.
