Really enjoyed this visit as love seeing and finding out about new plants - purchased a few from the shop - also like the informal (rather than unnaturally fussy) nature of the garden!
All staff were very friendly and helpful, you can even leave your car in their car park for free (if you pay to go to the gardens) and go down to the beach from there.

There is a beautiful café near the car park with sea views that is a welcome reward after the steep hike up endless steps!
We parked at the landslip carpark and walked down through the devils chimney and then followed the coastal path all the way to Ventnor walking back to the car park along the main road.
