Ivinghoe Beacon Aldbury
#1 of 1 Nature & Parks in Aldbury
Fantastic walk around the Beacon today, It's only about 2.5 miles on the circular route, car park and back, but there's lots of ups and downs, and it gets the heart beating.
Starting point of the Ridgeway walk, but we always do a short circular 4 miler around the local area, encompassing the summit itself, across some fields, through the woods and back to the car park.

Tring Park
#3 of 4 Nature & Parks in Tring
You have the main park to stroll around and then paths up hill to the obelisk, temple, ridgeway footpath and kids discovery area.
There are some fantastic ancient trees in the park and the summer house and obelisk give hints to the grandeur of the park in days gone by.

Whilst wandering around Tring for the first time we discovered the memorial park and its history, a pleasant thoughtful place good for families with a water feature
