Great place to visit for walk along the seafront, look at the nature reserve, refreshments in cafe and always something interesting in the Nature Centre.
The Haven nature reserve has good hides and walkways to watch a huge variety of birds, both local and migratory depending on the time of year.
Holly Hill Woodland Park

This little park is a hidden gem- I've lived in Portsmouth for nearly 7 years and only stumbled on it while browsing trip advisor!
You can also walk to the hamble river from here, there are maps provided around the park too!
Hill Head Beach

There are several handy car parks along the beach line, the promenade offers great views of the Solent across to the Isle of Wight and if you walk in the right direction you'll find an ice cream van.
There is a good walk along the promenade if the tide is high; the coast path goes on for miles here and there is a national nature reserve inland...well worth a visit.
