Walking here from our home in chalkwell along the waters edge we enjoyed stunning views across the Estuary whilst visiting our favourite pubs and enjoyed fresh seafood, fine wine and real ales.
It's a fantastic fusion of old and new, lots of good restaurants, pubs, seafood merchants, beach and ice cream all on a quaint cobbled street and a lovely view too!!

Walk from Leigh-on-Sea station along the sea wall and cross the railway line to walk the steep hill to the castle ruins, and you will be rewarded with the most amazing view to Southend and across the Thames Estuary.

Have visited this Farm many times with my son ,who is now 18!! but still loves it.Great to feed the animals and watch there funny antics,especially the goats.Super cafe with excellent views of the countryside.Run...
Had a good hour and a half here as the site is small but well worth a visit.
Prittlewell Priory

The priory is full of items found on the site and have been restored for the pleasure of us visitors .
