- rugby007Alexandria, VA388 contributionsTotally worth the time and the money to stop in and see this, classic roadside Americana.
Admission is $10, and there are discounts for seniors and military; best to ask at the door about this.
it's easy in and out, right off Route 23, easy to spot. There is ample free parking. total time inside, well, that's up to you. This is not a gigantic exposition but there is an awful lot of interesting stuff tucked into this space.
We were lucky enough to attend while Catman was in the house, a wonderful friendly gentleman who is happy to talk anything cat. Note that your fee also helps fund the shelter run by Catman.Written 14 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My husband loves this place, we have been there 3 times, he has Stage IV Kidney Cancer and has this new hobby as he can not work, the staff are helpful to him and our 10 year old daughter, and from what I have saw everyone else that comes.Written 6 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jangels007Manchester TN256 contributionsLooks like a fun kid play area. I wondered of its safety with a man, who appeared homeless laying on the asphalt within the park. And another homeless man outside the park.Written 9 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- DanPanama City Beach, FL11,924 contributionsNice community park. My wife and I were recently traveling through town & spent some time here. We walked around the perimeter of the park, watched dogs playing at the dog park, spent time at the plaza dedicated to the U.S. Constitution & The Bill Of Rights, and then enjoyed a snack while sitting and relaxing at one of the multiple park benches before getting back on the road.
Park Amenities include:
1-Four tennis courts
2-Paved walking path, winds around the park (Dog friendly, must be on a leash).
3-Multiple park benches are strategically placed if you need to rest
4-A small Dog park
5-Pavilion with picnic tables & grill
6-Kid’s playground
7-2 baseball fields
8-Four outdoor basketball courts
9-Restroom facilities

The parkway boasts about 170 official stops along the path. This site is one of these many stops. This particular stop is just before a sharp turn when coming from the north and just after it when coming from the south. Like many other pull-offs, it has a small area to pull off the road and stop. It does not have diagonal parking spaces but it does have a pretty view across several ranges. This particular view is looking down a valley and so most of the ranges aren’t perpendicular to you. The ranges are at an angle to you. We got there at a good time and could see the broad panoramic view. There were not many trees in the way and so the view is a very nice one. This particular stop does not have any restrooms, trailheads or tables. It is just a stop with a nice view of several ranges south of the Blue ridge parkway.Written 9 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
