Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Alma P1 contributionFort Dobbs was an amazing experience the tour guide was awesome. This was the fist museum that I've been to that let's you touch everything. It was very hands on. The tour guide even demonstrated how to shot a musket which was very cool and vey loud. The experience as a whole was jaw dropping. Our tour guide Scott was very kind and funny he was able to answer any questions we had very detailed and thorough. He shared many interesting stories. Over all i loved going there and definitely recommend for you to visitWritten 10 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravlChasWaterford, WI33 contributionsMy Wife and I have toured a distillery before, but the other couples wanted to go, so we did. They offer a very nice tour. We samples the liquors they make and then had a cocktail. I had a Old Fashioned. It was the best one I have ever had. Can not wait to go back for another Old Fashion.Written 25 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- cheryl hDurham, NC57,971 contributionsThe antique mall is 16,000 square feet of antiques, vintage, collectibles, North Carolina wine, cheese, and butter, china, porcelain, clocks, radios, lighting, oil lamps, cast iron banks, beer steins, advertising, vintage clothes, toys, kitchenware, tools, and so much more.
For the most part the booths were well organized and the main aisles were wide and clear making it very easy to get around. My only complaint was the large amount of space that was cluttered, tight, and tight narrow aisles with merchandise in the walkway. We just walked right past those areas because it isn't worth tripping or knocking something over and breaking it.Written 7 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The 2 and a half mile trail, which meanders back and forth through the forest, is well marked for walkers and bikers. There are identification labels on several of the trees and shrubs along the path. There are no restrooms here, but there is a changing room by the parking area, also a bike repair stand, which I am sure is appreciated by the bikers. A thoroughly enjoyable walk.Written 24 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

TripAdvisor listed the Mountain Biking Museum as a top attraction. Turns out it was a bike shop that had a lot of old bikes on display. The owners of the shop had just passed away and their heirs decided to close the shop and open it exclusively as the museum. It will be interesting to see how it is transformed.Written 28 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dianne KHigh Point, NC119 contributionsMy family and I have done too many escape rooms to count, honestly I have lost track, however I will say every time I do a room at Key to Escape it becomes “the best room ever.” The Oz themed room has now taken the top spot! It’s such a great room. The puzzles are creative, they weren’t too difficult to solve so if you are a beginner I would say this room would be a good challenge for you. If you’re experienced you’re still going to love this room and it is still challenging. One challenge you may have is one we encountered; my husband and I said that at times we were sloppy with our puzzle solving because we were so enamored with the design of the room and just lost ourselves with looking at all of the details that at times we missed the obvious. 😂This room is purely magical. You know that feeling you got when you were a little kid and you went to Disney World for the first time and you rode on one of their classic dark rides and wished you could jump off and explore? It has that kind of vibe to it. This escape game is like jumping off the Disney ride and solving puzzles in the dark ride scenery! I don’t know if there are awards for escape room design, but if there are, this one deserves a gold medal. ❤️ 🌈 ❤️Written 1 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
