I’d visited Blowing Rock and the shop a few times but wanted help getting back into the sport and also to learn more about the local waters. It was money and time incredibly well spent. Coleman met me at the shop before sun-up and we drove a half-hour or 40 minutes to a remarkable stretch of water. Coleman was the consummate guide, in the true sense of the word. He was professional, instructional, diligent, patient, supportive, conversational, and interested. And, he was knowledgeable about every wrinkle of the river and the art of fly fishing it as I could have hoped for. - Mike Christine Y7 contributionsWe had an amazing time kayaking on Price Lake. We arrived around 3:00 on a gorgeous day to find the parking area almost full. Much to our delight, we were able to rent individual kayaks for each of our 4 family members. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views on the lake are do pretty! He was telling us about his ideas for future tours, and they all sounded great. - Donny R4 contributionsChris called us the day prior to our scheduled ride to notify us of inclimate weather which would impact our reservation. He offered an alternate date, but since we were only coming in for the day, he offered to cancel the reservation for us for a full refund. He didn't have to do that, but his exceptional professionalism and courtesy has undoubtedly made us happy customers, even without mother nature's cooperation.
