Beautiful place to visit. Very quiet. We really enjoyed visiting here. Pretty views and some wildlife around. We had a great time!

Informative, intimate, fun, delicious! A unique experience. We also got to see a part of Yonkers we hadn’t been to before.

Permanent and temporary exhibits with works by local artists from different periods make this museum worth visiting. Great for families, as there’s a planetarium with shows throughout the day.

The redevelopment of the river that gave birth to the city was well designed. Inhabited by giant carp, turtles, ducks and night herons, it attracts attention every time you pass by. Despite being cleaned and cared for constantly, it's often dirty given the presence of many homeless, being in front of the train station. The protective grilles to stop the flow of bottles and various waste is useless, since they are periodically opened before being cleaned and all that they had wasted ends up spilling over the Hudson River.
Despite the presence of banners with indicated wifi, this does not work. However it remains one of the most pleasant parks in Yonkers.

Charming oldest home in the heart of Yonkers Historical District. Lots of art and music events going on in this museum. Worth to visit with kids and family. Also beautiful park right across the street from the museum and lots of restaurants.

What a great place to float down a lazy river while enjoying the day outdoors. If you have a Westchester County pass it's only $8 with a $5 parking fee. Not bad for a day of fun. It can get crowded but it's all in fun. Without a county pass it's $15 admission and $10 to park. You have to show that you are a county resident with a license.

I have come with my kids as well as with Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops. Always staffed by knowledgeable people who know how to make nature and the river interesting for kids as young as kindergarten. Don't miss the seining events, great fun for kids and adults alike.

This is a nice place to shop and dine. There is plenty of outdoor seating at Whole Foods. We were here to take the kids to Hapik for a party. My only complaint is the parking. I'm not a fan of paying for parking outside NYC.

Went here with my wife for a nature walk. We were very pleased with the overall experience. There is a nature lodge on site, but we arrived later in the day after they were closed. The trails are in good condition. The butterfly garden is designed with plants to attract butterflies of the season. We went in the early fall. If you are adventurous enough, and in good physical shape, you can take the trail down the hill, and get fairly close to the deer. There is an old mansion on site. Was curious to see the interior but it wasn’t open at that hour. Good amount of parking spaces on site. Looking forward to returning in Spring and Summer.

The butterfly & hummingbird garden are located inside the Lenoir Preserve and are a nice addition to the Preserve, although it's very small. It's easy to miss as it's a small (about 8 x10 feet, I'd say) area fenced off area off one of the walking paths. It's not always open & I imagine the fencing is there to keep out the deer, which are plentiful in the Preserve. The butterfly garden is at it's best in late spring or summer, of course, but Lenoir Preserve is worth a visit any time of year. It's well maintained without being overly groomed so it retains the feel of a natural landscape. It's clearly the site of an old estate or school, perhaps because you can see the footprint of building foundations, stairs, walls, etc around the Preserve. It's like a peek into the Guilded Age when Rt. 9 was the site of the summer homes of the robber barons and old money from NYC. Not as extensive or developed as Untermyer, but a lovely, unspoiled respite from city life. You can take a leisurely, undemanding walk, or venture into the wooded areas for a more strenuous outing. If you enjoy bird-watching, don't forget your binoculars because you're in for a treat. I've seen the usual robins, cardinals and bluejays, but also owls, hawks, a few small vultures, mockingbirds and some blackcapped chickadees. Unfortunately, I've yet to see a hummingbird here, but that's a question of luck & timing.

Either way, enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty, glimpses of the Hudson and the deer who always make an appearance. We've even seen a fox or two.

The machines are paying pennies and then nothing to the point of losing everything. Thank goodness I go with a little budget. I was shocked because I would leave with something on a regular. Now I can't seem to get more than 50 cents. I keep going when I get free money to play with. I say it is worth a try and 20 minutes of decent socializing. But this month might be my last month going.
