- MichaelWade1984London, UK45 contributionsFriendly staff greeted us on arrival, checked our vaccine passports and seated us promptly. The staff were so friendly and really made the experience a good one. The food was delicious and the wine was great. Some of our party also had beer and it was good to see local breweries supported. Our designated driver had a flat white and the option to get water was also handy. The pizzas were lovely and the platters were good for sharing. Definitely a great place to visit.Written 22 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- santo tAuckland, New Zealand7,572 contributionsIt is a small museum in size, with attractive themes and exhibits. Several themes are displayed here, the history and voyage of Captain Cook to Mercury Bay, the story of gum digger. Then, the exhibits of the dairy life in the past, logging, as well as farming and wool shearing. Also the tragic story of HMS Buffalo which was wrecked here in 1840. For $5 ticket for adult, spend nearly 30 minutes to one hour here is worth when visiting this tourist town Whitianga. Easy to find, at the beach front.Written 9 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Caroline B5 contributionsI came here a few years ago with my partner at the time and had the coolest typical kiwi experience. The owner is such a laugh and awesome knowledge of his brews. The estate is situated in such a beautiful rustic setting and its really lovely to enjoy some drinks and wood fire pizza in amongst the trees.Written 22 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Wanda GWoking116 contributionsLoved the Bread & Butter Gallery and the lady in the gallery was super helpful. We spent hours looking around as it is one of the few galleries I have visited where I wanted to buy something. Ended up buying a painting and three or four other bits. Had to leave before I went broke. Highly recommend.Written 14 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
