This is a tour for those who want to see some gems of the peninsula but may not have much time to spend there. Our Captain was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. He took the time to give both sides of the boat equal time to take pictures. A lot to see in a 2 hour boat ride. I highly recommend this tour.

This was the best boat cruise we've ever been on. It's relaxed, very informative and the views of Cathedral Cove and surrounding coast lines was absolutely breath taking. Adam, the captain seemed to know everything about the area and the sea creatures. Many people went snorkelling, despite it being March, they said the water was quite warm and saw all sorts of creatures. We would highly recommend going on this reasonably priced fantastic cruise. Had the best time!

Ash of Sea Cave Adventure is a gem. He took us to a number of sea caves, explaining his Māori culture signifigant to the area. He is also very knowledgeable
about marine life. But it is Ash himself, a good kind soul, that makes this tour a must.

Don't let age or inexperience stop you from booking this trip. From the moment you are picked up in Flaxmill Bay you are looked after. I am in my early 60s. Had never been sailing before. No issues getting on and off board. A wonderful hot proper coffee, chances to take the helm, beautiful scenery to see, historical info was shared and we were offered a chance to swim at Cathedral Cove. Safety procedures were top notch. A very relaxing experience on super comfy bean bags...there's even a toilet on board. I would recommend to everyone. Thankyou Mat and Rebecca for an awesome morning.

This tour was amazing! In spite of a weather forecast of bad weather, the Coromandel really turned on the good weather for us. Ash has lots of experience on the water and was a superb captain and host. He was able to tell us a lot about the history of the region from pre-colonial times. The caves we got to visit were just out of this world. I don't think you can really get a sense of the majesty and diversity of the region without seeing it this way. It was also the only tour boat we saw that didn't have a canopy so we could get amazing pics looking upwards from inside some of the caves. Magical!

This was a very interesting cruise around the different famous places at Cathedral Cove. The one down side was we hit some wind so we couldn't see every place but the captain, Brian, made it up to us with some exciting boating at the end.

This is an excellent Coromandel experience! Run by 2 professional, experienced and enthusiastic young men.
They were calm reassuring and provided great guidance for experienced and beginner kayakers alike.
Knowledge of the local area and features as well as being mindful of the weather and conditions was a focus of the trip.
Our group would highly recommend this trip.
