I travel to different museums with my grandkids every year and this was our favorite so far!
This is a real treasure and we've been to children's museums all over the world.

This is the coolest, most eclectic art museum I've been to.
It saves you from the "art exhaustion" you get in a regular museum.

GEM is several museums ins one: early 20th century luxury home, beautiful gardens, movie theater, and photographic technology museum.
One of the best and most interesting museums around.

You can visit the Eastman House in the morning and see the Susan B. Anthony museum in the afternoon, for an illuminating contrast of commercial and political history.
I thoroughly enjoyed the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House.

I have visited numerous art museums in large cities (NYCity, Montreal, Boston, Paris, Berlin), but am always surprised by the little gems in smaller, mid-sized cities.
The Memorial Art Gallery is definitely in the top tier of university affiliated art museums in the US.

We are science and history museum volunteers ourselves, so we go out of our way to visit museums when traveling.
This museum was one of the best hands-on science museums we have been to throughout our travels.

For $7 adult $6 kids you get to watch the show AND poke around the museum.
Not the biggest museum in town, but well appointed and fun for kids 3-12.
