The parking at the trail head was interesting, as I had the last open spot and there was a Ranger there directing and monitoring the parking. It’s definitely a very busy trail. Views from the top of the fire tower were beautiful, but with the crowds, it’s hard to get any alone time up there for photos. - Awilda J10 contributionsMoose River Farm was a delightful visit. Petting turkeys, llamas, horses, donkeys, geese, and chickens and goats. Enjoyed the trail leashed llamas, and learning all the fun names in the farm.
The owner and tour guide was so informative and you can tell she really knows her farm animals. They are well taken care of and pretty plump! Unfortunately, we along with hundreds of other tourists, decided the Columbus Day weekend was the time to visit. Made for a wonderful night. As you might have assumed didn't play golf to good on Friday. Walked in they were very accommodating on answering all our questions and concerns since we have not done it before. It was the best part of our anniversary weekend. So scenic and just a relaxing 3 hours Highly recommend Mountainmen.
