Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- travelzingerNY area18 contributionsHudson Opera Theatre's concerts are every bit as outstanding as the fully-staged operas. The recent performances of Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem" at the newly reopened Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center brought a Manhattan-quality musical experience to the Orange County apple-picking region, complete with beautiful autumn foliage and great local eateries. Is there a better formula for a great weekend? I check their website periodically (HOTopera.com).Written 6 October 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob FGoshen, NY285 contributionsI have been coming here for years. I can't believe no one has reviewed it. First it's not really a park, it's a natural forest with a lake for fishing and miles of trails. This used to be a Children's Camp back in the 1950's called Camp Orange. After that it was known as Orange Lake and after it was taken over by the PIP, Palisades Park Commission it became known as Highland Lakes. Please understand this in undeveloped land. The parking is minimal but adequate as it is an underused property. If you mountain bike it's heaven and if you fish it quite nice, just a bit of a walk. Ant there is always just plain hiking too.Written 20 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
