  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was unsure what I would think about this pass and I think I'll start by saying we got more than our money's worth but I don't know if that was necessary. The pass is very easy to use. You download the app (it's emailed to you upon purchase). It does not have a start date. It starts the first time you scan your pass. There were only 2 things I could reserve on the pass, the other things I had to reserve in person which ended up not being a problem at all.
Here is what we did in 3 days:
    1. Butterbeer at harry potter- great! Comes with complimentary souvineer mug. Sex museum is right by here too if that is on your list of things to do.
    2. Empire state building rooftop. This is one we could book early. It was well worth going up, all the history and the view....
    3. Top of the rock. It was nice. But... it seemed so similar to the view from empire state building. I think we only needed to choose 1, so I made the choice to cut out going to the edge. Get their early. Maybe right after being on the today show :)
    4. Tour of Rockefeller square. Very interesting. Some history, some art. Booked at same time as top of rock. St. Patrick's is right here as well.
    5. Roof top bus tour. *sigh. Honestly. I was pretty tired by the time we got to this and logistics are important. This bus is SLOW. To complete the whole lower tour is 90 minutes. The tour wasn't that great and it was recorded, not live. I wanted to be able to hop on and off and use it as transportation, but because it is so slow, by the time we started at 2, it was too late to use it this way. If you do the bus, you may ONLY be doing the bus that day.
    6. The ride. This we booked ahead. 100% worth it.
    7. Madam tussaudes wax museum. Not something I would have done, enjoyed it very much! Literally right next door to the ride and in time square.
    8. Central Park biking. Yes. Do it. But maybe not in the heat. And also know you can't just ride your bike wherever you want. It's still considered a vehicle. We only had the bikes out maybe 2 hours. But it was hot.

So while we got our money's worth, I do feel like I felt like we HAD to get our money's worth and that added some pressure to my vacation to see things I might not have. However, we would have paid a lot more if we hadn't. Hopefully this helps.

Matt (a native NY-er ... uh Brooklyn no less) left us awestruck with his knowledge, facts and fun. It was the fastest (5) hours we have ever done. It went by so quickly. He gave us fantastic choices for food during the rest of our stay in the city and left us at a restaurant that was amazing.
Next time we're in NY we will definitely hookup with Matt for a BROOKLYN tour.

He was waiting for us at the airport. It was the worst rain you've ever seen and it was lovely to have comfortable transfer for the family straight to our hotel.
    5 star service.. thank you

The driver was on time at JFK on a very busy day before Thanksgiving. Clean, professional and courteous experience for me and my family.
