It still feels like a place "away".....as a place to rejuvenate yourself, living simply and close to nature.......thanks to the stewardship of The Star Island Corporation and many other dedicated people.
He was the man who told you how to park in their lot, and then came aboard to narrate almost the entire cruise.

Spring, summer and fall, Prescott Park is a lovely in-town park where you can relax, see beautiful flowers, watch boats coming and going from the harbor.
We found the most beautiful little park with an amazing display of flowers and beautiful fountains less than a 10 minute walk from Market Square.

Great place to take your family for a picnic or pick up something to eat at Newark and got eat at this park which I have done many times.
My family and I usually go to Hilton Park with my children and their friends for a local picnic and to watch local boaters put their boats in the water.

During the summer it will cost you $15 to park and if you have an RV you can double that.
A $15 fee to park and have access to facilities was well worth it if wanting to spend any considerable amount of time at the beach.

There is also private parking across the street if you miss out on the public parking spaces - one last thing - you have to pay $2/hr to park (credit cards excepted) from 8am-midnight.
If you actually go past the state park entrance parking lot, further up past the general store on the left, you can park between the signs on either side.
