Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Be sure to look this museum up and get a picture of the depot with the mountains in the background. A really good overview of the area is outlined in the 6 room museum. The exhibits are thorough without overloading you with information. Great staff.Written 14 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JacquelineStreet, UK29 contributionsMy husband and I along with friends have just returned form an exceptional visit to Yellowstone . Or Guide was Chris and we felt really lucky to have him .Chris was punctual - recommending we leave early to maximize our viewing opportunities . Chris grew up in the area , so his knowledge of the area and the animals was second to none .
Chris's ability to spot animals at a distance was what made the tri p so worthwhile . We saw all the animals we had come to see ,( including one of the pack of wolves ) and so much more .
Thank you Yellowstone Guidelines for a fabulous 3 days !Written 4 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Mark M1 contributionGreat fishing and float trip

He was knowledgeable and gave so many cool facts about the river and area around us. The float took around 3 hours and you were constantly experiencing gorgeous 360” views. I would highly recommend this excursion and Cody!Written 23 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer S9 contributionsMy family (including 10 year old kiddo) had a wonderful time exploring Yellowstone with Carl a few weeks ago. We booked our day with him while the park was still in the process of reopening after the flooding, and he was very flexible about traveling all the way to the West gate to meet up with us (once the North gate opened to tour operators, we mutually agreed to meet up at Norris Geyser Basin instead). His vehicle was clean and comfortable, and well stocked with drinks and snacks.
As we started driving we chatted, and found out that Carl used to be a smoke jumper, and had worked in anti-poaching enforcement in Africa and the US. His passion for wildlife and the preservation of the park were really evident. Seeing him interact with the park staff and other guides, it was clear that they liked and respected him and were all happy to share their own wildlife sightings with our group.
Within a few minutes of meeting up Carl pulled off into a small lot and found us a wolf with his scope! Tons of other tour vehicles went right past us in a rush to get to Hayden Valley or Tower Road - we were immediately impressed by Carl's "eye for wildlife." Throughout the day he consistently picked out great vantage points for us, near the action but away from crowds. We did mostly wildlife viewing, except for quick stops at Tower Falls the Artist Point to see the Lower Falls. We never felt rushed along, and he patiently readjusted scopes to get the best views of the animals and scenery.Written 26 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
