This is a "Well Oiled Machine" of an operation!! A bit tricky to get to, go slow on that bumpy county road to the top of the mountain, but a surprise at the top of well maintained and very nice outbuildings. Everyone was matched to just the right horse! The guides were well versed and friendly as could be. And the views were out of this world beautiful! We did the dinner ride, and the food was Fabulous!! Songs and marshmallows by the fire after dinner was a very cute ending to this event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Six of us (4 adults & 2 teens) did the two-hour ride on Saturday morning, 7/29. As some have said, the road up to Jardine and to the horse corral was an adventure in itself, but nothing a minivan couldn't handle! We arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled 9:00 ride. Ralph and a couple others were there. J.R. was our guide. He went through the basics of horseback riding with us and then they paired us up with our horses, making sure everyone was comfortable with what they were doing. We headed out into some absolutely beautiful upcountry until we reached a large open meadow an hour into the ride. We then returned via the same trail, as there are no "loops" up there. J.R. was very good at setting a nice pace and keeping an eye on everyone and slowing/stopping as needed when someone's horse wasn't cooperating (be aware that Mouse likes to stop and eat grass a lot if you let him! :-)
The two hours seemed to pass quickly as the scenery from up there was gorgeous. Everyone really enjoyed the experience.
Highly recommend the two-hour ride with this outfit!

One of the highlights of our trip. We had so much fun. We did the full day trip having never rafted before. The Flying Pig was great about answering all our questions and suggesting what to bring and wear. Emily was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and fun. The rapids were fun. My kids even especially enjoyed jumping in the very cold water. We would definitely do again next time we are in Montana.

This was a fun and professional experience for your family of 6, with kids ages 15-5. There were adventurous rapids for the older kids and sections where it was a relaxing float. Nico was friendly and knowledgeable!

We loved our 1st experience white water rafting! We stayed in Big Sky and drove about 30 minutes to their headquarters in Gardiner for a 3 hour “ less challenging” tour. We are 3 active adults ( in our 60’s) and couldn’t stop laughing, smiling & screaming 🤣. Out raft guide was Hero Tom and was was best guide and communicator ever! Because we went the beginning of June we were fully suited up ( wet suit, booties, jacket, vest & helmet). Be sure to wear only lightweight cotton under the wetsuit and bring a change of clothing cause you will get wet 😱!

This was a day to remember! Our guide, Sarah, has an amazing depth of knowledge about every aspect of Yellowstone, and imparts this with fantastic passion and enthusiasm. Sarah was in radio contact with other trackers throughout the day, to enable us to move quickly to the best locations. We saw grizzly bears, black bears and coyotes with their adorable cubs, bison with their young calves, elk, mountain badgers, pronghorns, and even a nesting osprey. The scopes and binoculars provided were excellent and enabled us to see all the wildlife very clearly. We started out at 5am and finished the day eight hours later at 1pm. This was definitely the right time of year to visit Yellowstone, and Wolf Tracker is a brilliant way to see things that many of us would miss completely without an expert guide. Highly recommended!

Best guided tour in Yellowstone. MacNeil is so informative and knows the best places to see wildlife. He was so kind and knowledgeable. Our tour was planned over what we wanted to see. Had the best time, learned so much and so some amazing wildlife. Highlight of the trip!! Especially seeing all the wolves!

Cara was an amazing guide. She has so much knowledge about the ecosystem. We saw so many animals! 2 wolf packs, a mountain lion, 2 moose, pronghorn, bison, pygmy owl, great horned owl. Epic day and so much fun. A must do and totally different way to see Yellowstone. It was a true life-moment.

I planned aur trip for Yellowstone for my mother‘s 80th birthday. My mom, sister and I spent an amazing day with Audra/Lamar Valley Touring. She provided transportation to and from where we were staying in Gardiner, which was very convenient. We did the early morning tour which started at 5:15 AM so that we could have the best chance of seeing wildlife. We were able to see the elusive wolves, two different packs! This was so exciting! We also saw bears, bison, elk, mountain goats, a moose, and various birds including eagles and osprey. It is amazing to see how the guides in the park assist each other and help to put each other onto where the animals are. Each time we would get near animals, Audra and her assistant would set up scopes and other equipment for us to clearly view them. Audra’s enthusiasm and excitement for finding the animals was evident, even though I know she does these tours regularly. Her love for animals and nature made the experience even more special. I cannot recommend highly enough. This was our best day at Yellowstone!

When into Yellowstone 4 times the first week of June 2024. We have used Ashea and her team 10 times ove the last seveal years and they continue to impress. We were with Ashea 2 days and Rhiana and they are both fantastic. In addition, to being great wildlife guides they are both extremely knowledgeable about the park. In addition they are both attentive and thoughtful of what it takes to be just a drive thru Yellowstone to wonderful experience. We will be traveling with them again in 2025.

This was our second visit to Yellowstone and we decided to treat ourselves to a wildlife guide because we knew we were only seeing a fraction of the wildlife present in the park. Our guide was Kyle and he didn't disappoint. He expertly put us onto wildlife sightings. He had powerful spotting scopes that allowed us to see wildlife we would have never seen on our own. Kyle was thoughtful and very knowledgeable about the game we were observing. The day flew by and we definitely had a great time.

Jort is an excellent guide, highly recommended. We spent a morning with him, with the sole purpose of searching for wolves for my daughter (she is fascinated with them). We were not disappointed! Jort led us to a pack of wolves that were feeding on a bison carcass. Amazing to see! Following that, we went to another location to see wolf puppies frolicking around. He knew just the places to go. He provided spotting scopes to view the animals which we wouldn’t have been able to see with the naked eye. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the wolves, and the park in general. After parting ways, he recommended some excellent hikes and recommended other locations to spot grizzlies and moose. He was a delight to be around!
