Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a "Well Oiled Machine" of an operation!! A bit tricky to get to, go slow on that bumpy county road to the top of the mountain, but a surprise at the top of well maintained and very nice outbuildings. Everyone was matched to just the right horse! The guides were well versed and friendly as could be. And the views were out of this world beautiful! We did the dinner ride, and the food was Fabulous!! Songs and marshmallows by the fire after dinner was a very cute ending to this event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My wife and I did a float trip down the yellowstone with Cody and he met all expectations and then some. Since this was my wife's first time ever fly-fishing I was wondering how he was going to juggle everything. He had her catching in no time which was a bonus for me because it gave me an opportunity to fish these fabled waters and catch my bucket list native cutthroat trout!

Six of us (4 adults & 2 teens) did the two-hour ride on Saturday morning, 7/29. As some have said, the road up to Jardine and to the horse corral was an adventure in itself, but nothing a minivan couldn't handle! We arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled 9:00 ride. Ralph and a couple others were there. J.R. was our guide. He went through the basics of horseback riding with us and then they paired us up with our horses, making sure everyone was comfortable with what they were doing. We headed out into some absolutely beautiful upcountry until we reached a large open meadow an hour into the ride. We then returned via the same trail, as there are no "loops" up there. J.R. was very good at setting a nice pace and keeping an eye on everyone and slowing/stopping as needed when someone's horse wasn't cooperating (be aware that Mouse likes to stop and eat grass a lot if you let him! :-)
The two hours seemed to pass quickly as the scenery from up there was gorgeous. Everyone really enjoyed the experience.
Highly recommend the two-hour ride with this outfit!

One of the highlights of our trip. We had so much fun. We did the full day trip having never rafted before. The Flying Pig was great about answering all our questions and suggesting what to bring and wear. Emily was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and fun. The rapids were fun. My kids even especially enjoyed jumping in the very cold water. We would definitely do again next time we are in Montana.

This was a fun and professional experience for your family of 6, with kids ages 15-5. There were adventurous rapids for the older kids and sections where it was a relaxing float. Nico was friendly and knowledgeable!

We loved our 1st experience white water rafting! We stayed in Big Sky and drove about 30 minutes to their headquarters in Gardiner for a 3 hour “ less challenging” tour. We are 3 active adults ( in our 60’s) and couldn’t stop laughing, smiling & screaming 🤣. Out raft guide was Hero Tom and was was best guide and communicator ever! Because we went the beginning of June we were fully suited up ( wet suit, booties, jacket, vest & helmet). Be sure to wear only lightweight cotton under the wetsuit and bring a change of clothing cause you will get wet 😱!

Best guided tour in Yellowstone. MacNeil is so informative and knows the best places to see wildlife. He was so kind and knowledgeable. Our tour was planned over what we wanted to see. Had the best time, learned so much and so some amazing wildlife. Highlight of the trip!! Especially seeing all the wolves!

Cara was an amazing guide. She has so much knowledge about the ecosystem. We saw so many animals! 2 wolf packs, a mountain lion, 2 moose, pronghorn, bison, pygmy owl, great horned owl. Epic day and so much fun. A must do and totally different way to see Yellowstone. It was a true life-moment.

Our family of 10 ranged in age from 4 to 65 years old. We were in two groups one went white water rafting and the older couple and 4 year old went on a float. Both guides are very helpful and they had all the equipment nessecary for our trip, from life jackets, paddles, to water shoes.
The white water group had so much fun they wanted to go again and the float group saw different birds, went through some ripples of water and got a little wet. The end of the trip requires a steep walk up but everyone in our group was able to hike up this small embankment.
Good location and good recommendation for lunch after in Gardiner.

It’s the first time on Segway tour. The guide tour was Kate, she knows everything about Segway. As soon as she done expelling to me how to ride, I was ready to ride with big knowledge. She’s a nice person and patient to my questions, even some questions were about the places and animals, she answers them with a happy face and big smile. It’s the best experience I have done, if I had more time there I would do it again with Kate. She shows you all the beautiful places in Gardiner. Thanks so much for the amazing tour Kate.
