What a pleasure to visit a museum which was accessible to all levels, child and adult without exhibits being dumbed down and visitors being patronised. (Eg: how do you think dinosaurs felt?).
The outstanding exhibition was highly educational for example in describing the various stages of earth’s evolution and with an interesting machine showing the amount of time each geological aeon lasted. This was fun for kids. The information itself clearly explained how life evolved and how thermo-Phillip micro organisms released oxygen as an by product of photosynthesis over about 3 billion years completely altering the earth’s atmosphere.
A clear exposition of the scientific method: observation, hypothesis, testing and theory would be a useful addition to nearly all the museums I have visited and it was there!
The outstanding section and collection of dinosaur fossils was enhanced, for example by a short video explaining how growth rings in bone can be measured to estimate age and how bone circumference can be used to estimate the weight of adult dinosaurs (as much as 8,000 Kg).
It was particularly interesting and encouraging to see scientific paper references for the more academic visitors.
I liked the sponsors being acknowledged as caring and feeding a skeleton!
Areas for children seemed popular and a room of mythical creatures surely encouraged younger persons engagement

Super easy hike with a little bit of hard breathing. Nice to have the paved path, I’m nursing a bad knee so did not want uneven surfaces. We got there early & there was only one other car in parking lot. By the time we got back to our vehicles it was a busy parking lot & we passed a family & anotger few hikers going up as we were headed down.

Downtown Bozeman centers around Main Street going about a block North and a block South. It is full of shops, stores and restaurants. I’m staying at a hotel not far off the main drag and it is in easy walking distance. I visited several shops, went to one of the restaurants and scoped out places to eat for the rest of my visit. I’m planning to visit a few more shops as time permits. Definitely the place to be.

This place is great. True compassion for the bears that unfortunately cannot be released into the wild. The bears were so playful and entertaining!

This was our first Montana Ski experience and we will be back! What a treasure Bridger Bowl is. Friends of mine had told me it’s a “hidden gem” and isn’t that the truth! Bridger Bowl makes a Montana ski experience possible for big families. You get incredible mountain skiing experiences for a great price. So many options at the multiple chalets to eat and hang out. Great staff all around, everyone is friendly! Really fun skiing, excellent snow and well groomed runs, and plenty of options for all levels of skiers. We had 5 teenagers on the trip and they were highly satisfied and impressed, not always an easy accomplishment!

We have an ASTC museum membership that allows us to visit science and children's museums for free when we travel, so we stopped here on our trip, thinking it was just a place to get out of the car for an hour. Boy were we surprised!
This was one of the best museums we have seen for its small size (and we visit a lot of museums). It is mainly one big room, with a loft for additional materials, but what they fit into that space is just wonderful. They had a great area for building vehicles that kids could roll around in, information and activities related to ecology and environmental design, a small area about animals and plants, plenty of light and physics displays, and upstairs in the loft was a great computer lab for activities in Minecraft and 3D printing. Our kids are on the older side (age 9 and 11) and they had a blast with everything.
Beyond the space and activities being lovely, the people were even better. They were all helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Because our 3D printed project broke the first time in the printing machine, they even sent a re-do in the mail! Way above and beyond any of our expectations, and it made our day!! We just love this place and wish it were closer to home, because we would go all the time!

Thanks to the many organizations and individuals who have had a hand in creating and maintaining this great swimming spot. It has a really nice, low-key feel to it — just local families (and a few visitors, like us) enjoying the water and a picnic on a sunny summer day.

We came here to spend an afternoon after hiking in the morning and just kind of take a rest day during our busy traveling vacation. It looks a little bit shady when you drive up. But once you get inside, it's okay. They have several pools inside and locker rooms to change, as well as lockers that you pay 50 cents to store your items in. they have a coin changer there in the front area to get quarters.

They also have some outdoor pools that are actually nicer. And they look like they are newer in the outdoor section. all of the pools are at different temperature, and they have them written down on a big board by the ladies' locker room at the front. it would be nice if they had a board in front of each pool telling you the temperature because you don't really know which one is which. they also have towels available, and you can get as many as you need. There's also a sauna and steam room. We enjoyed the steam room a lot.

This is a very relaxing place, and being on a week day there were not many people here. I really enjoyed this.

One of the best climbing gyms I’ve personally been to!! This gym is huge compared to most of the climbing gyms I’ve been to. Great fun.

We enjoyed a jaw dropping morning tour of the upper loop of Yellowstone National Park with Jeremy. It was an early wake up for a 5am pick up from our hotel but 100% worth it as the early time guaranteed day break in the Lamar Valley, where we were incredibly lucky enough to see some of the Junction Butte Wolf Pack. We also spotted bison, pronghorn, coyotes, red fox, mountain goats and squirrels. Jeremy, our wildlife biologist guide, was really knowledgeable about the park and very happy to share his tips for the rest of our stay in the West Yellowstone area. Our lunch stop was breathtakingly beautiful, a very special picnic spot. Our day finished off with a short hike to Lava Creek Falls, again just breathtaking. Highly rated this tour.

The best-guided tour I have ever done. It was just beyond my expectations, I loved everything (including delicious food/snacks and very comfortable transportation!), the beauty of the landscape, the wild animals, my amazing guide's (thank you Rae) knowledge and explanations… everything was perfect! We got to see bears, bisons, fox, the geyser, hot springs, the frozen lake, the falls... I highly recommend this company for its professionalism and experience in the Yellowstone area!

A very well organized float trip! Top notch staff! The most relaxing part of our week long vacation in the Bozeman/Yellowstone area. The tubes are very nice with mesh bottoms. They also do not seem to get hot in the sun. The Madison river is smooth flowing and not very deep, so not scary. We rented the cooler/tube and they furnished the ice! We ate our lunch as we floated down the river. It was great. I believe it was 10 miles long and it took us about 2 hours and 45 mins. We also rented a dry bag, water proof speaker and towels to dry off with at the end. The whole package was very reasonably priced.

Great extensive tour, best value for money I had on this trip. Bryan was very knowledgeable, paying attention to details, explaining the history and background and you can tell hw knows his way in the park. The weather was not in our favor, but he didn't give up and made sure we hit the road once opened. The arrival timing to Old Faithful was impressive and all in all, it was a great tour!
