Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Randy B2 contributionsDave is a very skilled watchmaker and restorer. He is also a consummate gentlemen, and treats you with respect. Helped me greatly with work that many other watch repair persons wouldn't take on.

They have a wide array of gift items and you can probably find a gift for just about anyone there. I picked up a jar of huckleberry-raspberry jam and a couple of fabric patches (so happy they carried them). The young man who was working there alone was super helpful, answering my questions and even looking up things for me didn’t have to do with my purchase. He truly made my experience excellent in this shop. My only suggestion is perhaps having a “Made in Montana” section, since I prefer to get locally made products when I can on a trip.Written 18 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jehenson81Washington DC, DC25,931 contributionsI was intrigued when I found this shop listed on Trip Advisor, so I made a point to pop in. They have a wall full of different types of honey from all over the country and you can taste them to see which kind you’d like to get. I tried all three of the Montana honeys. The clover was just like the standard honey you can buy in the grocery store. The star thistle was very sweet, even for me who loves sugar. Now the wild flower honey was different and amazing. It was woodsy and floral. I liked it so much I got three bottles of it (one for me and two for gifts). It’s just on Main Street and worth the visit.Written 15 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Departure625781Denver, CO4 contributionsI usually LOVE Canyon River Spa. It gives big city vibes in a small town. With the sauna and steam room. The facilities were great but my massage therapist really hurt my neck. I told her to be gentle and that I did not want deep tissue and at the end she pulled my neck and hit these two points on my neck that were so painful. About 3 hours after the massage my neck started hurting terribly. I’ve had so many massages but never gone to bed in pain after like this one. Ugh.Written 1 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Amos BenningHouston, TX5 contributionsGreetings!
I’m a creature of habit and sadly last night I knocked my longtime faithful favorite tea mug fell off my night stand last night and it broke. I have others but they are not same. They are slightly larger and not as coarsely finished (too smoothed). I am looking for several replacements. It would be nice if it’s the same pattern but it doesn’t have to be. I know these are handmade and will not be the same but I’m hopefI have attached photos of the broken mug that I want to replace and one that I am not as crazy about lol. Please help!Written 7 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's almost all jazz with some blues and folk. It's not a huge selection, but the jazz options are exceptionally well curate. The book shopping is more extensive. I could get most anything here cheaper on Amazon, but I love supporting the local shop.Written 21 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jehenson81Washington DC, DC25,931 contributionsNon-chain bookstores are a rarity in this day and age what with Amazon and other online vendors. I was thrilled to discover this place. It is bright and airy inside and the owner (I think) greeted me as I entered. The mystery section was right near the door and I saw a variety of books and authors I had never heard of. I liked how they had notes on the shelves recommending different books. I wandered around for a bit, but didn’t buy anything. I need to work on the stack of books I already own, but I can’t say I wasn’t tempted to add to it.Written 15 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don U1 contributionWe didn't know what to expect but were very pleased. We brought a wide range of kids and all were amazed at all the treasures. They have dinosaur bones, a melon sized meteorite, and many many more treasures. The lady helping was excited about her job, informed, and happy to share with the kids. In fact, the kids begged to go back the next day to pick up a few treasures that they hadn't gotten the first time. A fun and interesting little shop!Written 25 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jehenson81Washington DC, DC25,931 contributionsI love the smell of tea. I also love to drink tea and so does my dad. I went in looking for a particular tea, but they no longer carried it. She had something similar, but the smell wasn’t very appealing. I opted to ask her what her favorite of the black teas was and she immediately told me the Golden Monkey. I got a bag of it to share with my father. It was on the expensive side, but that’s normal for specialty teas. I’m sure it’s going to be great. The lady who helped me was great, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a nice place to visit… if you like tea.Written 15 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jehenson81Washington DC, DC25,931 contributionsI popped into Vino per Tutti to see if they had a by the glass option and was pleased to discover they had just gotten approval to do that. I spoke with Jeremiah, who was very friendly, helpful and accommodating and was able to get this sweet rose to try. It was the cousin of the Moscato, which is my all time favorite wine. He chilled the bottle before serving me and it was superb. I highly recommend them not just for the wine, but for the service.Written 20 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArielNGB2 contributionsThe owner was absolutely wonderful. We traveled to Montana earlier this year, and I wanted to purchase more pendants like the ones I bought when we were there... I couldn't find the exact pendants online so I messaged the owner on Instagram and she helped me (despite me being no doubt a pain in the butt!) and took the time to pick out exactly what I wanted. When my husband and I were there in person, the woman working at the shop was also extremely friendly. This is service you just don't get anymore! Absolutely thrilled with this shop, the quality of the products, and the customer service. If you have the chance to stop in while in Bozeman, do it! If you don't, check them out online!!Written 22 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jehenson81Washington DC, DC25,931 contributionsThis is one neat little shop is downtown Bozeman. It is part gift shop, part body care store and part boutique. They have an eclectic array of items, many of which caught my eye. I saw things for cooking, entertaining and even for your pet. It is well worth a look and you might just walk away with a truly unique item, either for yourself or to use as a gift.Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Catie P1 contributionPeak Skis is a great one stop shop for buying quality skis, apparel and local goods. Their line of skis (Peak 88, 98, 98SC, 104, 104SC & 110) offer something for everyone.Written 9 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
