Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I were looking for something to do during our winter weekend away. We are so glad that we stumbled on this gem of a location. Sara was so fun to chat with, and so knowledgeable during our cider/wine tasting….the coconut lime cider was divine! And my husband really enjoyed talking with David. What a lovely couple. We will most definitely be back if we are in the area again!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in the Berkshires and a big reason for the trip was to see the fall foliage. This place didn't disappoint; it sits atop a hill overlooking a big field with a lake and mountain backdrop. Being at this winery gave us everything we were looking for in this trip; beautiful scenes, great wine, and a fun environment. Even on a rainy day, this place is gorgeous. Directly on the property, they have a rotating food truck that provides great options for their customers.

Everything about our experience here was already outstanding, but after a few hours, my girlfriend and I realized that finding an uber out of this area was close to impossible. As the winery is closing and most of the patrons have left, we’re standing in the main room coming to terms that we may have to walk 2+ hours back to our hotel. Suddenly, one of the owners, Donna, approaches us and asks us if we need a ride home. We couldn't believe she was serious, but she was hellbent on making sure we got home safe. Next thing we know, she’s swinging her car around front and corralling us (along with another group of stranded customers!) into her car! She got everyone home safe and refused any compensation for her generosity.

She was amazing company and her act of kindness was the highlight our trip. If you’re visiting the Berkshires, do yourself a favor and visit Balderdash Cellars.

We were apprehensive about stopping because the store is curbside only on the weekends. However, after a huge disappointment at Hilltop Orchards we came over for FRESH donuts. We were not disappointed! The young lady took our order, curbside, and returned with piping hot fresh donuts and delicious cider. Now that we know their products haven't changed with curbside only, we will definitely stop soon for more!

We hiked Stevens Glen for the first time today, even though we have lived in Western Massachusetts most of our lives. It is a relatively easy hike from a small but well-marked parking area. The highlights are the beautiful cascades in Lenox Mountain Brook and the 40 ft. ribbon cascade through Stevens Glen, which can be viewed from an overlook platform that is easy to reach.

A much more prominent attraction 100 years ago, the trails are well-marked and well-maintained. The reviewer who commented that there was nothing to see must not know how to follow a trail because the payoff at the end of the this relatively short hike is quite spectacular.
