It is in it's own small park in a residential neighborhood, set away from the hustle and bustle of the busy waterfront.

This park is gorgeous , It is clean, green , gorgeous landscaping and can walk from grist mill through to the ocean.
Park is beautiful for a quiet stroll along the river stream and sit at the park benches along the pathways

If you get to the beach early or late, you can park for free in the tiny lot on the west side of the Powder Point Bridge (route via Duxbury).
We did have to park about 0.5 miles away and walk over the bridge to get there (free parking).

While much of the area is forested, there are several clearings throughout the park that make great spaces for picnics.
