We stayed at the Hyannis Harborview Hotel and were pleasantly surprised that the JFK Memorial and adjacent Veterans Memorial Park were within a short walk of the hotel.
Easy to park, clean facilities!

I found the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, the JFK Memorial, & the Korean War Memorial particularly poignant, as I now do entering the well-maintained Veterans Memorial Park.
We enjoyed this historical park, great to teach our kids what the areas history is all about, great location

Sunsets are a must here but I love that the tide goes out and you can walk out in warm clear waters and enjoy being with nature.

If you're renting a cottage right in the neighborhood you can walk, or park with a town permit; otherwise there is a daily pay parking lot.
If you like going to the beach and sitting on the shallow side, well this beach not only has shallow sides but also has nature made pools that you can simply sit and tan.
