Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Jake6226O'Fallon, IL21 contributionsThis short trail gives you up front viewing of the Ohio and a little exercise along with it. Close to downtown and tourist sites, restaurants, Quilt Museum, and parking.Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jessica H1 contributionThis experience was just a lovely time to see the alpacas and also chat with the couple here! These alpacas are so majestic and just gentle beings who are so soft for hugs. You don’t need insurance coverage for this type of therapy!Written 9 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kentucky ReserveKentucky262 contributionsInteresting museum filled with a variety of historic things from the area. There was a large collection of pharmaceutical stuff on display. It is crammed full of stuff and needs to spread out - thankfully there were no emergencies. Not sure why it is called the William Clark... as there was almost nothing about him in it, but we could have missed it because it was so crammed full of items on display. The ladies working there were extraordinarily enthusiastic about the place.Written 7 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kentucky ReserveKentucky262 contributionsInteresting statue with little explanation and it was difficult to figure out where to park. One must park in the Cherry Civic Center to access it. It is in Noble Park but there is no path to it from other areas of the park.Written 7 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ken BMemphis, TN495 contributionsSpent a birthday weekend in Paducah, Kentucky for the Lower Town Arts Festival. Lower Town is Paducah's arts district and is just a few blocks east of central downtown. Enjoyed the music acts and the overall vibe of the festival and the area. Artists and musicians come from around the South. Make sure to visit the Smedley-Yeiser historic home and artists' collective. Note: Bring cash. Beer tents and most food vendors did not use credit card readers. We'll be back next year.Written 13 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LiketoeatCincinnatiCincinnati, OH2,534 contributionsWe visited on a Friday evening just before the Stations of the Cross. This is a beautiful church with stained glass and statues. The outside reminds me of churches in Europe. Parking is in back for church attendees.Written 23 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - harryatkckKansas City, KS1,018 contributionsThis bridge over the Ohio River provides a great view of traffic on the Ohio River. If the traffic is not too bad, slow down & get some photos.Written 26 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gabriel HBellaire, TX7,131 contributionsLloyd Tilghman, a native of Maryland, lived in Paducah until he joined the confederate forces in July 1961. He served with distinction , was captured and eventually died during the Vicksburg campaign. The life-size, standing bronze statue, shows him in military uniform, standing on top of a pink granite pedestal, which in turn, stands on two square bases. The memorial is located in Lange Park, in the middle of a lovely residential area in Paducah. It is listed on the National Register if Historic PlacesWritten 29 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
