Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The 606 is similar to the Highline in NYC where the trail is elevated on old train tracks. Love all the plants and trees lining the pathway. They were all well maintained and there’s a variety of plantings. Not very many benches to rest on the pathway but many street exits if you chose to explore the neighborhoods. Damen St in Wicker Park is perfect for drinks & a bite to eat. Just be careful when walking on the trail because there can be a lot of bikes. Definitely a nice alternative trail in Chicago besides the lakefront. Will be back!

I like this better than New York's High Line, on which it was obviously modeled. The main difference is that the High Line is crowded with people at all hours, while the Bloomindale Trail (or 606) has plenty of visitors, but it never feels crowded. It goes through pleasant mostly residential neighborhoods, and there are nice views of the city, particularly while walking eastward. There is easy access to the 'L' from the blue line station at Western/Milwaukee and from bus lines on almost every north/south cross street.

The north branch of the Chicago River has a celebrated history when it comes to natives and settlers alike. The woods have produced evidence of indigenous settlement and even the likes of Kinzie put roots down in these parts on the river. I grew up in these woods so for me nostalgia plays a part in its magnetism. The begining of a bike path starts right on Foster and continues north to the Chicago Botanical Gardens. I would only hope that future visitors be more litter conscious and respect the well trodden dirt paths along the river bank. Read up on the history before visiting and the place will come alive.

What a great time we had together!
We normally don't like walking around in a city with a guide, but after a tour with Leentje you don't want to miss this personal approach.

Leentje is a warm and very flexible person. We loved her stories about this magnificent city. Arts&culture, Architecture, Politics, Food: Leentje talks with lot's of energy and her knowlegde is so impressive.
Loaded with lot's of suggestions we could make great plans for the next days. She really gave us an unforgettable time!

To clear up some confusion here, this is indeed a fabulous house, but Eckhart Park (park district) is in the city of Chicago and Wicker Park is a southern suburb of Chicago.

SCAMMED!!! I rented the lamborghini on 5/11 for my sons prom and didn’t receive my $1000.00 refundable deposit back instead I was charged $500.00 for going over 15min of my picture taking time. The driver rushed me while the pictures was being taken. I have called in several time to receive an response to this matter only to get threatened by Mr. Valentine that if I continue to call they will block my number. He stated that they are busy with clients as if I am not a client myself. However I am rightfully owed an detail explanation by management who has still not reached out to me to address and rectify this matter. The driver reported they didn’t leave the pick up location until an hour after pick up time but that is not true. First off I was guaranteed 30 mins for picture taking and my photographer has a time stamp video that shows live video footage of the driver leaving with them at 7:45pm. So I was charged $500.00 for 15mins of additional time. However the email invoice I have stated that my refundable desposit should indeed be $1000.00. I have carefully looked over my contract and no where in the agreement states they will charge me $500.00 for 15min. I fact the contract states 100.00 for any additional hour wthe vechile was kept.
