Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a delightful surprise to find this gem! What a beautiful building filled with floors upon floors of books and more! So interesting! I especially loved the Winter Garfen on the top floor!

We came upon this amazing place by chance as we were walking from Old Towne to Downtown. It is a gem, especially for book and/or history lovers. The volunteers and staff members are welcoming and informative. The have changing exhibits and a fantastic bookstore.

America's Newest National Park and a must see. You learn how one of the major industries of 1900 developed and how it eventually failed. Nice tours for about 1 hour and great fast food, Potbelly's less than 1/2 mile east of the Park.

Had a great time seeing all the pics, hearing the music of, and viewing the exhibits of the gear/musical instruments/clothing/diaries, etc of the Stones. I grew up listening to them and it brought back some great memories. Seeing their stuff up close and personal was really cool. They had Keith's diary, lyrics notebooks from Mick, set lists, etc. We cool to see that they even have flair when their handwriting! Felt like I have a better understanding of their roots

We came to see the Tiffany Dome. The whole building is beautiful. There is a Welcome Center inside. The gift shop was closed when we were there. We saw the art display on the 4th floor. You can easily spend an hour or more here. It is quite large. The restrooms are super clean! I recommend a visit to this free attraction.

Great story about the 10,000 books donated to the children of Chicago by the queen of England.

Stonework is immaculate and of course the Tiffany dome is quite spectacular.

While the actual books are stored elsewhere this building is worth a visit just for the craftsmanship.

This is home to the historic pumping station. Also acts as a small information centre and little library. Seems odd this survivor from the 1800'S amidst massive skyscrapers.

This particular location is very fun and the location is accessible to the Chicago River Branch as well. The Red Line CTA train is nearby. In addition, there are plenty of shopping markets to buy anything that you might need.

I recently signed up for French classes here. So far so good. I’m not disappointed. I am just confused by the class schedule- system-numbering... and this location doesn’t have its own parking but they validate parking tickets ( for $9)

We attended a large wedding here. The venue is large and inviting. Although it is industrial looking, it can be warmed up nicely. The food was superb. The feeling was chic but the focus remained clearly on the bride/groom and the attendees. A great way to start a life.
